We are looking for an emerging Mission Engineer to perform system level mission/CONOPS execution, refinement, and enhancement.
• Perform cross-functional coordination during critical mission support phases
• Perform assessment and review of system performance during tests and demonstrations
• Perform trade studies for enhanced mission capabilities
• SEIT lead for creating integrated end-to-end solutions
• Participate in failure investigations/ resolution
Standard Job description :-
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in supporting space system engineering
- Demonstrated capability to organize and coordinate across multiple program technical disciplines
- Experience in development or analysis of HW or SW for Space systems
- Active and current TS/SCI w/poly required. Thus US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills
- Experience with Satellite Electrical/ Avionics
- Experience in failure investigations/ resolution
- Experience with Python scripting
- Experience in simulation and test
- Experience in system integration
- Past experience in the operations and maintenance of Satellites and associated Ground command and control systems
- Experience in fault management and recovery schemes
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
