Lockheed Martin is looking for an emerging System Engineer to lead system level mission/OPSCON development, test and execution.
• Lead cross-functional coordination of the operational concept (OPSCON) for the mission execution
• Develop and test the detailed mission execution procedures in support of tests and demonstrations
• Lead SEIT development of integrated end-to-end rehersals and training of mission execution and contingency scenarios
Standard Job description :-
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in supporting space system engineering
- Demonstrated capability to lead and coordinate across multiple technical disciplines
- Experience in the development or operation of hardware or software for Space Systems
- Active and current TS/SCI w/poly required. Thus US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills
- Experience with supporting senior program/customer leadership
- Experience with supporting program/customer leadership
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and to work with minimal direction
- Experience in leading detailed space system CONOPS development, test, execution
- Experience in test procedure development and execution
- Experience with Python scripting
- Experience in simulation and test
- Experience in system integration
- Past experience in the operations and maintenance of Satellites and associated Ground command and control systems
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
