What does this role look like?
Be a part of the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Hypersonics program! Join our team to participate in ground testing hypersonic missiles.
In this role, we are looking for a highly motivated Test Engineer with a background in Software to help identify the test requirements, develop and maintain test scripts, test procedures, test products and execute test procedures for the Test & Evaluation (T&E) team of the CPS program and provide support to the production and launch operations.
As a Systems Integration Test Engineer - Software, you will:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts in python, write procedures, and other documentation used to conduct testing.
- Support Data Metrics Analysis, Trend Analysis, Develop Tools to better analyze data, and post data processing.
- Manage source code changes in GIT
- Manage stories and anomaly tickets in JIRA.
- Conduct software request documents (SRD) / Test Script review meetings with key Stakeholders.
- Perform analysis of test results to validate system performance and ensure data meets requirements.
- Support test plan development and provide support to the test lead
- Document test anomalies found during test execution and lead troubleshooting consisting of teams of 3-5 people to resolve
- Moderate among the interests of multi-disciplinary groups to synthesize test plans and test procedures
- Provide support to proposals, Independent Reviews, customer meetings, design reviews and issue resolution
- Must be hands-on and willing to drive execution in a fast-paced production operations environment including occasional travel in support of Production Operations and Test Integration.
- Work with minimal direction and coordinate plans with Leadership.
- Conduct test readiness reviews, develop test reports, and Implement Test Automation.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Aerospace, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance.
- Familiarity with test scripting, software testing and problem solving for integrated systems
- Ability and willingness to work occasional off-shifts and weekends to support full lifecycle operations.
- Ability to travel upwards to 25% of the time.
- Ablity to obtain a security clearance.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Integration and Test of missiles or spacecraft
- Experience or knowledge of programming languages, particularly Python, PowerShell, MATLAB, LabView.
- Experience with JIRA, GIT, Confluence, SharePoint, Configuration Management.
- Experience in test and requirements verification environment; experience in Missile Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, analysis, anomaly resolution, and ground test equipment; familiarity with missile test equipment
- Certified Test Conductor (CTC) with experience in Missile Integration and Test
- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields.
- Experience or knowledge in implementing Assembly, Test & Launch Operations (ATLO) standard methodologies and lessons learned
- Experience with maintaining process discipline and being organized
- Ability to communicate effectively with the test lead
- Demonstrated technical writing & presentation skills with experience writing system level test plans, test procedures, and test information sheets
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
