We are seeking an experienced and driven AI&T (Assembly, Integration & Test) Space Vehicle Manufacturing Project Manager to lead the planning, tracking, and associated execution metrics for spacecraft processing through the LM400 Factory. In this role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for production and test execution for discrete satellites. You will support the Program MPM in tracking cost, schedule, resources, and technical performance metrics while serving as the single point of contact for your assigned SV.
Key Responsibilities
• AI&T Program Execution: Ensure successful program AI&T during execution by leading detailed planning, preparations, and coordinating AI&T floor operations with programs.
• Lifecycle Engagement: Actively participate across the entire development lifecycle, starting at Critical Design Review (CDR), and continuing through integration, test operations, and final launch operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the AI&T Program MPM, L5 managers, team leads, and planners to align daily operational goals.
• Schedule Optimization: Drive maintenance of the supplemental schedule and ensure accuracy with the planner and ensure the supplemental is the primary tool for the AI&T team to enable proper planning, proactive preparations, and smooth factory floor operations.
• Leadership Delegation: Act as the designated delegate for the SV MPM and provide comprehensive support for all program-level management activities.
• Risk Management: Identify AI&T-specific cost and schedule risks. Score, document, and present these risks at the program’s Risk and Opportunity Management Board (ROMB), serving as the secondary owner of identified risks.
• Factory Floor Leadership: Lead and/or support critical daily alignment meetings, specifically the 0615 and 0700 AI&T Factory Internal stand-ups.
• Metrics Tracking & Reconciliation: Reconcile TES (Test Execution System) / Task Logs against the supplemental schedule while actively tracking vehicle-specific performance metrics and delivery dates.
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to synthesize diverse viewpoints into one actionable plan.
- Experience in aerospace production and test.
- US citizenship required, Pre-start Top Secret Clearance or DOE Q and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly
- Bachelors degree or higher or equivalent combined experience
Desired Skills
- Certified Test Conductor
- Project management.
- Experience supporting the generation and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules.
- Understand of program planning processes
- AI&T leadership (L-Code or Lead Engineer)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
