Standard Job Description

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
• Ability to evaluate and review technical changes for impacts to requirements and design documentation
• Familiarity with Linux OS and Microsoft Office tools
• Experience conducting structured test cases and documenting findings and results in accordance with established development and configuration management processes
• Involvement with working with internal and external customers
• Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

• Develop documentation and coordinate reviews through Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) tools
• Experience with MATLAB preferred
• Experience with system requirements management
• Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and enhance skills in an Agile Development environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
