The Alteration Installation Team Logistics Waterfront Coordinator (LogRep) is stationed at repair shipyards, naval bases, and the Pureland, NJ warehouse, where they support combat‑system upgrades across multiple U.S. Navy vessels and sites. Acting as the waterfront safety officer, the coordinator ensures the team’s compliance with OSHA, Navy, Regional Maintenance Center, state, and local safety regulations. The role involves developing all‑up material lists from ship technical drawings, tracking and organizing inventory, coordinating material flow to installation sites, and collaborating with government representatives on ORDALT inventories. In addition, the coordinator prepares reports for government, Lockheed Martin, and contractors, manages purchases with the LM Purchasing Card, and performs monthly expense reconciliation in SAP P2P. Safety duties include developing installation procedures, conducting training, and conducting daily walk‑throughs with ship representatives. The position requires handling domestic and international shipments (including hazardous materials), resolving freight issues, and may involve shift work, overtime, and occasional weekend or holiday assignments. Frequent travel to installation locations worldwide—such as San Diego, Norfolk, Mayport, Bath, Pascagoula, Pearl Harbor, Yokosuka, and Rota—is also required.
Primary Purpose: Provide logistics, material management, and safety oversight for combat‑system alteration installations on U.S. Navy ships, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and supporting seamless project execution at domestic and overseas sites.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience in logistics or material analysis related fields of material handling, material procurement, and warehouse/storeroom operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally atleast 50% of the time.
• Candidate will be required to frequently work on moored pier-side units. Physical ability to navigatesteep stairs and ladders as well as work in confined spaces is a requirement.
Desired Skills
• Ability to read and understand ship installation drawings
• Experience with requirements of current NAVSEA TS 9090-310; Shipyard Competent Person (29 CFR 1915, NFPA 306); ESH 40 CFR Hazardous Waste Management; ESH 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Transportation
• Experience with Alteration Installation Team installations
• OSHA 10hr and Osha 30 maritime safety
• Experience with hazardous material handling requirement
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
