THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Level 2 Project Engineer with a Final Secret clearance to support the software execution teams on the OPIR program in Longmont, CO.

Standard Job Description
- Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
- Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
This is an EMERGING PROFESSIONAL (level 2) ROLE where candidates require 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.

Basic Qualifications
- Previous project engineering experience.
- Ability to coordinate, integrate, and status a multitude of tasks amongst different stakeholders
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel utilization for data analysis.
- An active Secret clearance is required for consideration
Desired Skills
- Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies and utilization of tools such as Jira
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
