Standard Job Description
Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Senior you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions that enhanceassembly efficiency and product quality.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing technical guidance on various assembly processes and equipment and support to manufacturingoperators
- Developing, implementing, and documenting manufacturing processes for electronic and electromechanicalassemblies
- Utilizing lean manufacturing techniques to reduce costs and improve production yields through automation,tooling improvements, process redesign, etc.
- Defining operations procedures, production standards, and build sequences to drive operational excellence
- Developing statistical process control approaches and integrating reporting and data analytics solutions
- This position requires the ability to support up to 10% of overtime annually as required to support programneeds. This position may also require periodic weekend support.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
- Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field or Master's Degree.
- Position requires the ability to support up to 10% of overtime annually as required to support program needs.
Desired Skills
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and techniques
- Experience in Electronic Assembly & Manufacturing
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems
- Experience with automation/robotics in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Military specifications and standards
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC.620 and J-STD-001
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $63400.00 - $117800.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
