Standard Job Description
Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts utilizing automation and other techniques to maximize quality and efficiency. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as robots, conveyors, vision systems and programmable controllers. Responsible for life cycle of automated processes and equipment from design to implementation to maintenance and upgrades. Stays informed of new developments in automation to facilitate continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- BS 4 year technical degree
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Possesses comprehensive understanding and applies concepts within the field and related disciplines
- Develops practical solutions to a range of complex problems
- Works under general direction and participates in determining assignment objectives
- Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points
- Experts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization
Desired Skills
- Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline
- Demonstrates knowledge of industry and company practices
- Prior robotic experience
- Lean Six Sigma experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $76700.00 - $142500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
