Standard Job Description
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering Physics with electrical emphasis, or equivalent experience/combined education from an accredited college or university
- Familiar with digital, analog, and programmable electronic components and devices, their functions, and their interactions in basic circuits
- Understand schematics, utilize electronics test equipment, perform test procedures, analyze technical data, develop troubleshooting plans, and document actions and results
- Apply written and verbal communications, teaming, and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for build, test, troubleshoot, and innovate cycle
- Capacity to prioritize, and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance
Desired Skills
- Process Analysis: identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Software Development: Basic, Visual Basic, C, LabWindows/CVI, or similar
- Environmental Test Screening: utilize thermal chambers and vibe tables
- Continuous Improvement: identify and learn new skills independently and accomplish stretch assignments
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $52400.00 - $97400.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
