Standard Job Description
Supports the maintenance, reconditioning, refurbishment of US Navy Torpedoes in a team-based production-refurbishment industrial environment at the MK48 Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Job duties shall typically include (but not limited to):
- Maintain records for the Training and Qualification Program both physical and electronic formats.
- Deliver lectures and materials through employment of recitation, open/closed questioning techniques, group-paced methods of instruction and computer based training.
- Use motivational techniques to encourage learning.
- Participate in the development of new curriculum.
- Analyze curriculum and instruction through review. Recommend to management and implement course improvements after completion of reviews.
- Prepare and administer student knowledge level assessments.
- Review assessments for curriculum improvement and evaluate performance of program.
- Develop metrics to report performance of program to management team on a regular basis.
Provide instruction using computer information systems, multimedia projectors and other technology aids. - Ensured compliance with established teaching standards is maintained with instructor reviews and assessments.
Basic Qualifications
- Classroom and hands-on Instructor/teaching experience
- Knowledge of instructional course design
- Ability to work independently; prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Computer literacy in operation of MS Office type tools and networked computer systems.
- Ability to utilize digital databases to maintain Training and Qualification records.
Desired Skills
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Detailed Organizational Skills.
- Knowledge of DoD/Navy regulations/standards
- Classroom and hands-on Instructor/teaching experience
- Knowledge of instructional course design
- Demonstrated interpersonal relationship and customer service skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
