You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Stf (Level 4) for the THAAD Program Tooling Team. Our team is responsible for delivering world‑class missile systems through innovative manufacturing solutions.



What You Will Be Doing

 

As the Manufacturing Engineer Stf (Level 4) you will be responsible for advancing tool design and manufacturing processes that enable rapid, reliable production of the THAAD system.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and refine tooling designs to meet production requirements.
  • Provide Design‑for‑Manufacture input and transition new or revised designs from development to production.
  • Lead manufacturing process validation activities and drive cost‑reduction initiatives to closure.
  • Identify production risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Support earned‑value management and resolve tooling or manufacturing issues with internal and supplier teams.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manufacturing instructions, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
• Ability to travel domestic and/or international 25-50%
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

 

Desired Skills

• Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
• Experience manufacturing THAAD
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience in a manufacturing or production
operations environment
• Process improvement experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
