THE WORK

The role of Manufacturing Planning Associate Manager will be the responsible first-line leader for the Moorestown Operations Commodity Planning & Production Control teams, whose responsibilities include:

• Commodity Planning (Buy-Order Planning, ROP, Chemical Management, MMAS, Tool Crib Administration, for example)
• Production Control (Make-Order Planning)

In addition to leading these teams, the manager will work closely with other operations managers responsible for Warehouse Operations, Stockroom Operations, Inventory Control, Master Scheduling, and Factory Operations, to ensure timely execution of and material control for numerous radar & launcher programs in the Moorestown Factory.

Standard Job Description

Manages multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. These may include but not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping. Over sees production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e. supply chain management, mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering, etc.).

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement or other relevant area.

• Experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Teams).

• Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms.

Desired Skills

• Prior leader / manager experience.
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• Understanding of MRP / supply and demand management.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
