You will be the Applications Engineer Senior - Level 3 for the Advanced Manufacturing Technology team which is responsible for pioneering cutting‑edge manufacturing solutions.

 

What You Will Be Doing
As the Applications Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for driving the development, integration, and validation of advanced manufacturing technologies that improve production efficiency and capability.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex automation and robotic systems.
  • Execute project‑management functions for both government‑funded and internally‑funded Advanced Manufacturing Technology projects, including budget and schedule oversight, status reporting, and cost‑benefit analysis.
  • Provide technical status updates and troubleshoot issues for Production Operations build areas supporting AMT projects.
  • Engage in direct collaboration with shop‑floor personnel to prototype, test, and validate new technology concepts.

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start.
  • This position is in Marietta, GA.

 

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products; investigates the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Prepares equipment analysis to instruct sales force and customers in equipment capabilities. May prepare and present sales proposals.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

• Work experience in Applications, Manufacturing, Process, Robotics or other related Engineering field

• Experience in technical problem solving within manufacturing with exposure to prototyping new ideas

• Project management experience working with cross-functional teams

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and familiarity with advanced manufacturing concepts

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with complex automated systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience using change management techniques with customers to achieve organizational objectives

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
