Standard Job Description
As a Control Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing cost, schedule, and technical performance across sustainment efforts for the AMMM platforms such as the C-130, P-3 and C-5. In this role, you’ll manage control accounts related to Repairs, Spares, Modification Programs, Provisioning, and 3PL Warehousing while ensuring compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards. As a CAM, you will develop status, forecasting values, update schedules, mentor team members and provide management financial information to make effective decisions. You will ensure that EVMS standards are maintained and attend ongoing training sessions for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cost, schedule, and technical scope for multiple sustainment-related control accounts.
- Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) duties including baseline planning, tracking performance, and identifying variances.
- Provide regular financial analyses and forecasts to ensure alignment with program goals.
- Develop and maintain Comprehensive Estimates at Completion (CEAC).
- Prepare and deliver leadership briefings on performance, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with integrated product teams to ensure alignment across engineering, supply chain, and logistics.
-Mentor new teamsmembers to develop and strengthen CAM skillset
Basic Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, OR combination of equivalent education and experience
- Holds prior demonstrated experience in managing cost, schedule, deadlines, earned value management (EVM), forecasting, supply logistics, financial analysis, risk strategy, and/or previous experience as a CAM
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office tools including Power Point and Excel (i.e. pivot tables, conditional formatting, and creating charts from a data set)
Desired Skills
- Prior Cost Account Management / EVMS Experience (PPMU Certified) preferred
- Supply Performance Based Logistics contracts experience
- Previous Sustainment Experience in Mod Programs, Repair and Return Programs, and/or PSI/PBL Programs.
- Solid written, presentation and communication skills along with demonstrated success in utilizing Earned Value (EV) Management, developing and managing integrated master schedules, and performing critical path and financial analysis.
- Accept responsibility, accountability and exercise authority to ensure task cost, schedule, and technical success is achieved
- Familiarity with AMMM, IFG, F-35, or ADP supply execution systems, tools, processes.
- Experience with APTS, Contracts, Proposals
- Team leader with a positive attitude
- Experience managing and meeting deadlines and projects (cost and schedule)
- Desire to enhance program management skills including communication, the ability to deal with unforeseen challenges, and building strong relationships
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
