Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, GA is seeking a full-time Cyber Systems Security Engineer.

In this role, you will ensure that cyber security requirements are properly defined, decomposed, allocated, implemented, and assessed to produce a cyber-resilient security design solution for the target platform.

This includes participating in working groups, design reviews, and formal artifact reviews alongside other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and providing security expertise to ensure cyber security is considered early in the product development lifecycle. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of cyber risk analysis and security assessment methods, Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) implementation to mitigate cyber risks, and effective communication with a range of audiences.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle. Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions. Coordinates and addresses Supply Chain risk management concerns. Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain. Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions. Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application. Implements appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers. *USE OF THIS CLASSIFICATION REQUIRES AUTHORIZATION FROM THE BUSINESS AREA CYBER DIRECTOR OR DELEGATE*

Basic Qualifications

- B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Security, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, – or equivalent applied experience

- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to work in a dynamic work environment

- Experiences performing Cybersecurity on embedded systems.

- Experience applying RMF and developing RMF Artifacts.

-Experience utilizing ATLASSIAN Suite. (JIRA/CONFLUENCE)

- Ability to travel as required

- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-In-depth experience performing vulnerability testing on Aeronautics platforms.

- In-depth experience providing quality assurance reviews of RMF Artifacts.

-DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT/M Level II or higher certification (Security+ certification or higher)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
