Standard Job Description
This position is for the AMMM Liaison Planning Associate Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high performing team of hourly liaison planners and salary manufacturing engineers in support of C-130 production, flightline, feeders, and fabrication. This role will additionally support Marietta F-22 programs, Global Sustainment Customer Repair Orders, and Discrepancy Reports for all supported programs. This role will require cross-functional coordination across organizations and disciplines to drive day to day performance and completed staff work. This position will require occasional travel and extended hour support.
Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 2D drawings and 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Manufacturing Planning processes and procedures.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse, cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft structures, electrical, assembly, fabrication, and systems - primarily with the C‑130, with added experience on the F‑22, F-35, and F‑16 considered a plus.
Desired Skills
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (CAPP, SFM, Capital, 3DX, Apriso) and Enterprise Resource Planning systems (SAP).
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal. Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement, driving process improvements, and implementing corrective actions.
- Able to evaluate engineering change proposals and manufacturing process changes, assess their effect on manufacturability, cost, schedule, quality, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize production readiness.
- Experience in managing budgets, staffing, quality, and schedules.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM related discipline.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
