Standard Job Description

The Level 3 Production Supervisor is responsible for directing daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, safety protocols, and cost objectives are met. This role acts as the primary liaison between senior management and production staff, driving continuous‑improvement initiatives and maintaining a motivated workforce.

This position primary responsiblities include Plan and schedule production operations. Develope detailed work schedules, allocate resourses, adjust plans to meet demands while minimizing down time. 

Supervising a team of 15 production Mechanics; conduct daily briefings, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.

Enforce quality control procedures, conducts root-cause investigations, and implement corrective acrion to achieve reduced defect rates.

Lead safety meetings, enforce PPE usage,ensure compliance with OSHA, and internal safety standards; maintain zero recordable injury goal. 

Process improvement, training and development.

Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. 

Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications

  •  Hands‑on production experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role within a high‑mix, high‑volume manufacturing environment.
  •  Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, manage daily production, and drive performance improvements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly to non‑technical staff.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00
