What You Will Be Doing
As the Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor - Level 3 you will be responsible for leading a skilled hourly crew in the C‑130 outer‑wing build, driving quality, cost, and schedule excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
  
Supervise a team of 10+ hourly associates, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule targets.
  
Implement process‑improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  
Collaborate with HR and union stewards to resolve employee matters and maintain positive labor relations.
  
Oversee training, performance evaluations, and compliance documentation for all team members.
  
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support seamless production operations.

Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing in a production setting.

• Experience collaborating with hourly employees.

• Aircraft maintenance or aerospace manufacturing experience.

• Proficiency in using Shop Floor Manager (SFM) or similar systems.

Desired Skills

• 3+ years aircraft production experience.
• Experience in a union environment.
• Experience in budgeting and staffing.
• Shop Floor Manager (SFM) experience.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, and in group settings as a member or leader.
• Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical, non-technical, and business staff at all levels.
• Comfortable with Microsoft business suite with the ability to learn additional computer systems.
• Proficient in Quality Action Document System (QADS).
• Knowledge of C-130 assembly.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
