Standard Job Description

  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. 
  • Create DITMCO (Automatic circuit analysis) test programs and design adapter test cables for wire harnesses, wired control panels & module testing.
  • Maintain and support current DITMCO implementations for all wire harnesses and wired assemblies.
  • Provide technical recommendations and requirements for DITMCO test equipment systems.
  • Candidate must be willing to work odd shifts as well as rotate weekends to provide support to C-130J Production teams.

    Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in a Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturiung and/or Industrial industry
  • Experience working with wiring diagrams / schematics
  • Experience in using programming languages (Python, C++, SQL, etc.)

 

Desired Skills

  • Previous DITMCO /Automated test experience
  • Previous experience supporting/troubleshooting wire harnesses
  • Previous experience authoring test programs, documents, test equipment design and applications
  • Previous aircraft experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Knowledge or Experience with C-130J systems, manufacturing and assembly processes

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
