The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between Derco and its clients, focusing on relationship management, client satisfaction, and revenue generation. They act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding client goals, business challenges, and decision-making processes to provide tailored solutions and strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring consistent value from products or services.
- Revenue Growth and Retention: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, manage contract renewals, and meet revenue targets or retention goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop account plans aligning client objectives with company offerings, conduct quarterly business reviews, and coordinate internal teams to resolve client issues.
- Problem Solving: Act as the go-to contact for client inquiries, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business development, marketing, and OEM product teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and support business growth.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track account performance, analyze client data, and provide insights to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Deep understanding of OEM product sales, including features, benefits, and target market
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions using tools like CRM software or Excel

• Strong process development and management skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct presentations to Senior Management
• Microsoft Excel/database experience to include Macros, V-Lookup, formulas, graph creation, pivot tables
• Experience in IFS

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
