THE WORK
Administrative Assistant for the VP of RMS Quality and the Director of Quality Transformation and Excellence.
Maintains calendars to ensure efficiency and maximum use of leader's time, arranges meetings, makes travel arrangements and interfaces with internal and external customers.
Works effectively with internal and external staff assistants to schedule meetings and coordinate communication between Executives in a timely and efficient manner.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environment without constant oversight from leadership
Demonstrates initiative, discretion and tact in managing email, telephone calls and other requests. Ensures all correspondence is accurate, complete and properly handled.
Supports and coordinates varied team meetings and offsite events which necessitates strong organizational skills
Operates with a proactive nature to ensure conflicts or issues are handled in advance, and quickly resolves unexpected conflicting meetings and schedules.
Maintains an efficient work environment.

STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION
Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for assigned supervisor/manager or senior staff member. Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. May take and transcribe dictation; uses personal computers and standard desktop software to compose reports, correspondence, and memorandums; reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. May provide guidance and direction, as needed, to lower-level secretaries and other clerical employees.
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams and working knowledge of SharePoint, Confluence, etc. with key insights to all IT-related needs
- Ability to handle confidential, sensitive and classified information with discretion.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time.
- Effective organizational and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written and a demonstrated ability to deal with executive level contacts both within and outside of the company
Desired Skills
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with particular focus on Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Word
- Demonstrated flexibility and proficient in handling competing priorities and/or requests
- Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures and prior experience with other office applications such as Concur or P2P
- Experience coordinating large meetings, leadership reviews, offsite events, and customer engagements involving multiple stakeholders.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67900.00 - $126100.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
