Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 9+ years of professional experience, or 7 Years with a master’s degree
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical high-power systems (100 kW+), including AC/DC, DC/DC converters, and inverter/rectifier systems
• Experience with conceptual design of AC/DC power distribution, generation, conversion, and energy storage systems
• Experience qualifying and releasing electrical products to military standards MIL-STD-461 and/or MIL-STD-1399
• Experience analyzing and translating system requirements to support of proposals for new business and development of overall power distribution and architecture
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of high voltage/High-current and safety, grounding, and shielding/EMI
• Experience with Power Modeling/Simulation Software such as PSpice
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating test equipment including oscilloscopes, Megohmmeter and power supplies
• Experience coordinating root cause and corrective action investigation internally as well as with suppliers
• Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, stakeholders, subcontractors and customers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Occasional travel to customer sites and/or suppliers

- $110500.00 - $208344.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
