The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer. You will participate in design, development, integration, and testing of new capabilities for several Department of Defense (DoD) products and technologies. You will use and contribute to the displays of real-world weapons, sensors, and Command & Control systems. You will independently identify and address system and software defects, demonstrate an ability to practice sound systems and software engineering discipline, and decompose complex problems to formulate solutions.
In this role, you will work as a systems engineer where you make contributions to the visual components of the Aegis Combat System for Display Products department in the tasking of requirement and interface design, support of software implementation, and testing of defect, defect corrections, and requirement implementation.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Science Information Technology, Mechanical Engineer, or closely related field.
- Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance and the ability to maintain a government security clearance.
- Advanced use of JAZZ Doors Next Generation or Classic IBM Doors
- Experience with Aegis Combat system
Desired Skills
- Experience leading an agile team
- Linux experience
- User Interface design experience
- Figma experience
- Python experience
- Familiarity with Java
