This Job blends leadership, customer service and operational management. What will you be doing:
Liaison between Paint Operations manager and C-130 production management. Providing logistical assistance as the interface for scheduling and performance, providing, tracking, and maintaining key associated metrics. Reporting status on all C-130 production paint activities.
Will attend as required C-130 production meetings and fill in as required for Paint Operations Manager as needed.
Will provide direction of daily operations, providing direction to subordinates as required. Develop work schedules and assess performance using benchmarking activities related to manufacturing KPIs such as throughput, First Pass Yield, Duration, and material consumption.
Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.
Provides oversight in accomplishing all related painting activities while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met. Identifies and implements changes to improve quality, schedule and cost while promoting a safety culture. Reinforces a culture that values and embraces Foreign Object Damage prevention. Ensures training/certifications are up to date and compliant to ensure workforce is capable to perform their assigned duties.
Proactively drives continuous improvement and development of technical competencies, talent, and performance. Identify and lead incorporation of continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes. Identify gaps in skill sets and actively works toward educating and training to eliminate such gaps.
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Basic Qualifications
- Aircraft Paint leadership experience with Preferred C-130 aircraft coatings.
- Experience reading and interpreting aircraft drawings and technical data
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Basic understanding of Aircraft coatings application Processes
Desired Skills
- C-130 Production Leadership Experience
- Lean Concepts Greenbelt certified.
- Basic understanding of tools, machines, systems, and processes typically used in coating of aircraft surfaces.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management, SAP or similar systems
- Previous employee development and training experience.
- Experience forecasting manpower.
- Excellent communication skills.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
