Key Duties & Responsibilities

 

Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience formally or informally leading teams.
- Experience in Quality, Production, Engineering, or Manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Manufacturing and/or Quality processes and documentation.
- Root Cause Analysis experience or training.
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Ordnance Experience
  • Prior experience as a Full Spectrum Leader within a LM Production Center (Space, Aeronautics, MFC, RMS, or other).
  •  Prior experience with customer interface (both internal and external).
  •  SAP/VE-CAMS/Apriso experience.
  •  Experience navigating/overcoming hardware delays, such as coordination with QA Engineering, MFG Engineering, and PMP Engineering.
  •  PR/MRB experience.
  •  LM21 Lean Six Sigma Green (or Black) Belt Certified
  •  Cost Account Management / Earned Value Management (CAM/EVM) Certification/Experience.
  •  Previous ATLO, MFG, or MFG Test experience.
  •  Must be able to work off shifts, overtime and non-standard work weeks as needed to meet product deliveries.
  •  Strong Customer Relationship Skills.
  •  Demonstrated ability to proactively drive change.
  •  Demonstrate an extended culture of accountability.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills and organization skills.
  •  Ability to multi-task, be thorough and detail oriented, and demonstrate strong job closure and analytical skills.
  •  Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equal years of related industry experience.
  •  Minimum 5 years of related experience specifically in Quality/Production/Engineering/Manufacturing environment.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
