An opportunity for an Aircraft Technician MAML Category C (AME 5) has arisen on the UH-60M program in Oakey.
Key responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role is to provide supervision and team leadership to ensure maintenance is performed and completed, and aircraft are airworthy in accordance with prescribed aviation standards. Plan, organise, direct and control one or more maintenance teams and activities throughout the execution of maintenance and General Aviation Tasks (GAT) from both an administrative and technical perspective.
What you'll bring
To be successful it is essential you demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Tertiary qualifications - Certificate IV or above in Aeroskills - Avionics, Mechanical from a recognised institution
• DASA issued Category C MAML on either S-70A-9 and /or MRH-90
Other requirements include:
• Significant demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance management
• Demonstrated understanding of Human Factors and Human Resource Management
• Demonstrated high levels of communication and leadership skills
• Significant knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the DASA regulatory framework
• Significant demonstrated experience working on helicopters and/or components
• Computer literacy with an ability to produce, analyse, and interpret complex reports and information
• Intermediate skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications
