Standard Job Description

• Maintain, develop, and continuially improve production‑test processes, systems, equipment, and associated software.
• Design, develop, and implement test methods and equipment for standard and special devices.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all test resources required for test execution.
• Define test parameters and specifications, execute testing on all customer samples, and perform special tests beyond normal production.
• Collect and analyze test data and recommend changes to test hardware, procedures, manufacturing processes, and/or testing requirements.
• Diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot complex test‑system, equipment, and software failures; deliver clear root‑cause analyses, corrective‑actions, and prompt resolutions.
• Provide advanced production‑troubleshooting support.
• Manage inventory, calibration scheduling, and upkeep of assigned high‑value test assets.
• Collaborate across design, manufacturing, quality, reliability, and other functions to enhance product design, build quality, and overall production‑area efficiency.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment to meet tight schedules and shifting priorities.
• Work occasional overtime as required to meet project deadlines or support special testing activities.

• Full‑time, on‑site position working the 2nd shift, Monday – Thursday. New hires will start on the 1st shift for the initial on‑the‑job training period before transitioning to the regular 2nd‑shift schedule.
• Secret Security Clearance required (must be obtained within 12 months of hire).

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Electronics Engineering Technology.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance within 12 months of hire.
• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with common measurement and test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, DAQ systems).
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, debug, and resolve analog, RF, and/or digital circuit issues at both component and system levels.
• Experience analyzing test requirements, electrical test results, and technical data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Proficiency with test‑automation tools or programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, Matlab, TestStand) sufficient to execute and modify existing production test software.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting findings, generating reports, and interfacing with cross‑functional teams.

Desired Skills

• Deep experience with National Instruments platforms (LabVIEW, LabWindows CVI, TestStand) and the ability to develop fully automated test systems.
• Proficient programming skills in C, C++, Python, or other relevant languages, with a focus on applying software solutions to complex test challenges.
• Familiarity with automated manufacturing and test equipment and processes.
• Experience implementing continuous‑improvement methodologies to optimize processes.
• Proven track record of conducting detailed failure analysis, generating robust root‑cause reports, and driving corrective‑action implementation.
• Comfortable using statistical analysis tools to interpret large data sets and drive data‑based decisions.
• Ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects and tasks, prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Experience leading technical presentations or briefings for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with demonstrated success working with other Engineering disciplines.
