You will be an Operations Analyst - Level 2. 

 

What You Will Be Doing 

 

As an Operations Analyst - Level 2 supporting the Sustainment Spares Modeling and Demand Planning Team in Fort Worth, TX. You will collaborate across multiple internal teams and interface with the customer to ensure spares solutions support customer needs. You will be directly involved in the planning, development, and execution of supply modeling and demand planning initiatives. This requires a highly motivated individual with organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset, who will standardize processes, create and implement solutions that improve efficiency and readiness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across internal teams and with external customers to assess and plan for spares needs that support mission readiness.
  • Work with customers to understand their requirements
  • Conduct performance deep-dives
  • Assist in IT requirements developments
  • Evaluate maintenance plan changes for supportability and assess spare part compatibility for deploying aircraft.
  • Support internal planning by tracking team deliverables and identifying risks or opportunities for better performance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations that enable quick, informed decisions by execution teams and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process automation solutions and efficiency enhancements.
  • Participate in frequent customer engagements and provide data insights that align with their sustainment needs.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving program requirements and integrate relevant data inputs to adjust forecasting models.

Basic Qualifications

• Holds a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent combination of experience and education

• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, forecasting, or data analysis

• Understanding of Supply Chain Principles (i.e. managing cost, schedule, budget, supplier relationship management)

Desired Skills

• Experience with data analytics
• Experience with military service operations and customers

• Working knowledge of the provisioning process

• Ability to apply project management skills to lead and conduct analysis of complex sustainment processes

• Root-Cause Corrective-Action knowledge/ability
• Prior US Military background in logistics disciplines, primarily supply and/or maintenance a plus
• Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, ability to make presentations, and assertive personality in getting a response or action completed
• Project Management experience a plus

• Self-starter with demonstrated communication skills, ability to work independently, able to work with minimal supervision and develop recommendations from data analysis.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
