You will be the Administrative Assistant for the Vice President of S&GS Mission Systems and S&GS Deputy
What You Will Be Doing
As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for all aspects of running the Vice President's office. The selected candidate must be able to maintain the strictest standards of confidentiality regarding any discussions, meetings, or activities. The Administrative Assistant must possess a professional, welcoming personality as a forward facing member of the organization. Specific responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:
• Screen all incoming calls and visitors
• Set up meetings in Outlook and maintain the calendars by accepting or declining meeting invitations based on knowledge of upcoming events.
• Arrange domestic and international travel, prepare Travel Requests and get requests approved by appropriate parties, obtain itinerary on-line.
• Process visitor requests for program guests.
• Generate program documents and provide electronic distribution of documentation.
• Organize meetings for both regularly scheduled business meetings and large staff meetings.
• Directly contribute to a highly motivated and functioning leadership team.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN-This role is located at a facility that requires special access
Basic Qualifications
- The candidate must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Travel Planning (Concur), and other standard company programs.
- Previous administrative assistant experience supporting executives
- The ideal candidate should have the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments;
- Self-starter able to work independently;
- Should have good attendance and work habits;
- Have the ability to maintain Vice President confidential/private records and information;
- Ability to handle more than one task at a time with accuracy;
- Works well with all personality types and is calm when under pressure.
- Candidate must also be flexible with their work schedule and available on weekends as needed.
Desired Skills
- Should have an in-depth working knowledge of the standard Lockheed Martin office tools.
- Ability to coordinate events and symposiums.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $60300.00 - $112100.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
