THE WORK - Performs a variety of activities in support of the Metrology/Calibration Lab such as logistics, finance, purchasing and database entries. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources.
Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data. Uses calibration database and other software to compile and generate reports, statistics,
timeliness, correspondence and presentations. Helps in design of processes to enhance workflow. Provides data and information to
others on Cal Lab processes and procedures. Coordinates vendor services for outside vendors. Generates purchase requests and completes invoicing in P2P system.
Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
-2 years related experience in a Metrology laboratory
-Microsoft Office skills
-Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain accurate records in calibration databases and related systems.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing clear documentation, correspondence, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
-Understanding of quality management principles (ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent) and the importance of traceability and documentation in a calibration lab setting.
Desired Skills
-Experience in a technical role
-Customer service experience in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
-Experience working with a Metrology Calibration Recall database such as IndySoft
-Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
-Detail oriented
-Ability to work independently and take direction from Manager and/or section lead
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
