What you will be doing 

As the Demand Management Senior Manager for Advanced Programs, you will lead a team responsible for:

  • Design and implement innovative production control strategies that keep projects on track and on budget
  • Leverage advanced planning tools in order to inform product design to reduce overall product spans
  • Solve complex problems and deliver practical outcomes, turning problems into opportunities
  • Collaborate cross functionally with manufacturing, engineering, global supply chain, integrated planning, finance and quality counterparts to identify and react to changing needs; pivot quickly when priorities shift
  • Maintain schedules and communicate potential impacts based on regular page and line meetings
  • Support multiple program needs to achieve critical schedule milestones by navigating competing priorities and maintaining momentum
  • Review, comment and approve Demand Requirements Load
  • Ensure Windchill / MPMLink communicates accurately with SAP S4
  • Travel may be required to support and communicate with other production sites
  • Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related discipline
  • Previous Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), demand and supply planning, experience working in a manufacturing environment, daily interfacing with other functions 
  • Strategic thinker with proven lean manufacturing experience and knowledge of SAP
  • Must be willing to travel as required
  • Must be willing to work outside of the normal operating hours as required 

Desired Skills

  • Green Belt trained/certified or Lean 6S Black Belt trained/certified
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain
  • Inventory control knowledge and experience
  • Experience working with rapid prototyping, advanced manufacturing and production programs
  • Problem solver for rapid changing development environment, capable of collaborating with multiple functions to solve complex problems and deliver creative solutions
  • Ability to understand Windchill/MPMLink and the association with SAP
  • Previous Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) knowledge and experience 

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $134900.00 - $250500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
