You will be the Sensors Integration and Test Center (SITC) Quality Engineering Associate Manager for the Orlando, FL team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

What You Will Be Doing
As the SITC Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Quality Engineers & team members who drive quality excellence on the production floor.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Leading and developing a team of Quality Engineers in Production Operations
-Supporting inspection and developing methodologies to ensure compliance to requirements
-Reviewing documentation to ensure internal and external manufacturing processes meet quality standards
-Analyzing and resolving process issues, from basic to complex
-Leading corrective action meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify trends and resolve problems
-Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards to ensure effective disposition of non-conforming hardware
-Conducting assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications, engineering drawings, procedures, and ISO-9001 / AS9100
-Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology to prevent impacts on production throughput and quality
-Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
-Utilizing lean initiatives to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste
-Making final decisions on product acceptability

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

-STEM degree at Bachelor level or above or
equivalent combined education/experience
-Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
-Quality engineering or Manufacturing engineering experience
-Experienced as a team lead, facilitator and
communicator.
-Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
-Experience in making risk-based data driven
decisions.
-Experience implementing material review
boards and dispositioning non-conformances
-First Article Inspection (FAI) experience

Desired Skills

-Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
-Special process engineering experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
