Standard Job Description
Responsible for supervisory responsibilities and coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, both internal and external
• Experience leading contract efforts on large scale proposals
• Proficient with FAR and DFARS and experience with various US Government contract types
• Experience with commercial and international terms and conditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate complex business and contractual issues in a clear and concise manner
• Strong analytical skills; able to quickly comprehend issues at hand
• Demonstrated ability and business acumen to manage a portfolio of contracts and new business activities
• Must be able to excel in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and be able to quickly understand facts and assumptions to decisively recommend a future course of action
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to travel (CONUS and OCONUS) as required

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
