The Work
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
- Schematic Capture & Layout – Use Siemens Xpedition for schematic capture and EPCAD/Siemens for PCB layout, ensuring signal integrity and compliance.
- Trade‑Study & Optimization – Conduct trade‑studies of alternate architectures and recommend solutions that balance performance, cost, schedule, and risk.
- Bill of Materials Management – Control BOM, source parts, manage prototype build‑up, and drive cost‑effective part selection.
- Stakeholder Communication – Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and issue escalations to program, technical, and functional leadership.
- Team Contribution – Mentor junior engineers, contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience or coursework related to design and/or analysis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).
- Programming experience and demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern software language such as C++, Java, Python, and/or C# including object-oriented desig
Desired Skills
- Demonstrated usage of Siemens Xpedition or other schematic capture tool.
- Ability to understand electrical circuits, interfaces, and interconnect diagrams.
- Technical experience in full life cycle development of hardware including design, integration, and test.
- Fluency in C, embedded programming.
- Knowledge of card test requirements and process.
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
