Rotary and Mission Systems' Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) business is Lockheed Martin’s center of excellence for training and logistics products and services, serving the U.S. military and more than 65 international customers around the world. Based in Orlando, TLS develops programs that teach service men and women skills to accomplish their most challenging missions — flying the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft, navigating ships and driving armored vehicles.

TLS is the corporation’s hub for simulation, X reality, live-virtual-constructive capabilities, advanced training devices and full-service training programs. TLS also provides sustainment services such as supply chain and logistics IT solutions, spares and repairs, as well as automated test and support equipment.

THE WORK

As a member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will:
• Perform Electrical Engineering development and design functions in support of Automated Test Equipment
• Develop Electrical Designs, including Electrical Schematics, Cable Drawings, Parts Selection, and supporting electrical documentation
• Perform Power/Electrical Loads Analysis
• Support production environment in researching obsolescence to meet production requirements

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering with 3 or more years of experience
• Demonstrated experience with the following; electronic systems schematic interpretation, electrical circuit design, electrical analyses, and electrical cable design 

Desired Skills

• Lead and perform Electrical Engineering development and design functions in support of Automated Test Equipment
• Ensure project milestones and commitments are met
• Help Hardware lead manage scope, metrics, lead, and mentor the electrical/mechanical engineering team
• Develop and review Electrical Designs, including Electrical Schematics, Cable Drawings, Parts Selection, and supporting electrical documentation
• Perform and approve Power/Electrical Loads Analysis
• Support production environment in researching obsolescence to meet production requirements
• Circuit card assembly (CCA) experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
