As an Integrated Program Planner you’ll be the keystone of schedule‑driven success for some of the nation’s most critical programs. You’ll design and sustain Integrated Master Schedules that keep our missions on‑track, partner with senior stakeholders to shape strategic decisions, and translate complex data into actionable, on‑time solutions.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for program directors and senior planning leadership.
  • Lead and mentor the Planning team, providing day‑to‑day direction, performance feedback, and training oversight.
  • Partner with the Planning Manager to prioritize tasks, assign personnel, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality planning artifacts that align with business‑area objectives.
  • Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for new and existing development, production, and sustainment programs, building on the Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS).
  • Track program progress against baseline plans, safeguard schedule margin to contract dates, and report variances.
  • Perform risk analyses (probabilistic and deterministic), identify critical paths, validate network logic, and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Support negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders, providing schedule insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and manage proposal and execution schedules, assessing progress against established milestones.
  • Recommend corrective actions—including schedule revisions, funding reallocations, and work scope adjustments—to keep programs on track.
  • Integrate cost and schedule data throughout the program lifecycle and oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experienced at developing/maintaining Network Schedules including integrity checks, critical path analysis, and Schedule Risk Analysis using MS Project / Deltek Open Plan
  • Experiences delivering project briefings to internal and external customers
  • Experiences with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost / Schedule Integration
  • Demonstrated team building skills
  • Demonstrated influencing and relationship management skills
  • Ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance

Desired Skills

  • 10 years or more of experience in planning or program management related discipline
  • Experience in leading diverse teams virtually across multiple locations
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and providing analysis for Programs
  • Demonstrated practical application of Program Planning processes and tools
  • Experience with DCMA surveillances
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Integrated Program Management DIDs (IPMR & IPMDAR)
  • Experience with the capture/proposal management process – development and management of capture/proposal schedules, support of the various color reviews, demonstrated understanding and successful support of the executive review process
  • Expert user with Microsoft Project 2016 and Project Server 2016
  • Work Breakdown Structure development and maintenance experience
  • IMS development and maintenance expertise
  • Integrated Master Plan (IMP) creation, maintenance, and integration with IMS
  • Demonstrated knowledge of subcontractor and government furnished equipment integration with the Prime Contractor’s IMS
  • Earned Value Management experience / certification
    Production / Sustainment / Depot Operations
    Advanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables and VBA
    Proficiency in Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools
  • Ability to communicate utilizing different techniques and build strong relationships

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
