You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for creating efficient, cost‑effective, and high‑quality manufacturing solutions that support our Sensor Integration and Test Center.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
- Create and analyze 3‑D model data to optimize processes and generate digital work instructions.
- Evaluate equipment and tool performance, initiating corrective actions to ensure operational excellence.
- Design statistical process‑control methods and integrate data‑analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
- Provide input to product design to align specifications with manufacturing capabilities.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Must have the ability to work Weekday shift (Monday-Thursday 4/10s)
• Ability to obtain a Security clearance, therefore must be a US citizen.
• 1-3 years of related experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
Desired Skills
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Excel)
• Experience in troubleshooting problems and developing solutions
• Experience writing technical work instructions
• Experience in process development and automation
• Knowledge of optical manufacturing processes (optical bonding, optical centering, interferometers)
• Experience with optics handling and cleaning
• Familiarity with equipment operation such as but not limited to interferometers, lens centering machines, pneumatic dispensing machines, plasma cleaning machines, cobots
• Able to work in a cross function, teaming environment
• Knowledge of GD&T
• SAP Experience
• Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques
• CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tooling, taking a concept through to final design and fabrication
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
