You will be the Operations Engineer Staff for the Air Dominance Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for leading Manufacturing Readiness Assessments and ensuring design maturity for block upgrade programs.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Engineer Staff you will be responsible for coordinating manufacturing readiness activities, interfacing with engineering and GSC, and driving technical closure across the product lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead Manufacturing Readiness Assessments for Air Dominance block upgrades.
  • Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and external customers to plan and execute assessments.
  • Drive closure of technical and supplier initiatives, ensuring design for manufacturing and cost targets.
  • Communicate progress and findings to multiple management levels.
  • Travel to supplier sites (≈25%) to support assessment activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous Production Operations experience
  • Defense and Aerospace production process knowledge
  • Excellent verbal/written communications, must be able to effectively communicate internally and externally at various levels of management via verbal and written correspondence
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to or experience in manufacturing readiness and/or production readiness assessments.
  • DOD Security Clearance

Desired Skills

  • Experience leading cross functional teams
  • Experience with various program lifecycle phases
  • Ability to interface with customer teams
  • Lean Six Sigma Green certification

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
