You will be the Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineer for the Program Quality Team. Our team is responsible for leading quality initiatives, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance across the program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineer you will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of Quality Engineers and overseeing critical quality activities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and Material Review Boards (MRB) with full authority.
Drive root‑cause and corrective‑action analysis for yield improvement.
Mentor and train team members, manage work assignments, and assess performance.
Lead risk‑mitigation activities, design reviews, and first‑article inspections.
Support proposal development and Basis of Estimates (BOE) inputs.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
- STEM degree or equivalent experience / combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Ability to develop a vision for the team or an organization and develop and implement tactical actions to achieve the vision.
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with strong skills in AS9100 certification and compliance requirements.
- Process improvement / process control experience.
- Understanding of quality, procurement, operations, and risk management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform as Full Spectrum Leader which includes: (1) Deliver Results, (2) Shape the Future, (3) Build Effective Relationships, (4) Energize the Team and (5) Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and Accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong multi-functional team and develop strong customer relationships.

- Experience and able to work complex projects from start to finish.
- Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical methods.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision required.
- Previous Quality experience, interpreting and applying contractual and AS9100 / ISO90001 requirements.
- Excellent technical skills, communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated talent development and team building skills.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of time to domestic sites may be required as well as overtime to support production and customer milestones.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin processes and procedures (e.g., non-conforming material management, etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
