You will be the Quality Engineer Sr for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product and process quality across design, production, and supplier domains.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Sr you will be responsible for applying quality principles throughout the product lifecycle, from design through manufacturing and supplier management.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs.
- Lead failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve internal and supplier performance.
- Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, conduct statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain on quality issues.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education.
Must be able to obtain a Security clearance.
Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instructions / process documents.
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex.
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
Knowledge Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated presentation skills to management and peer groups.
Demonstrated inerpersonal skills for team building and collaborating cross-functionally
Desired Skills
STEM degree at bachelors' level or higher preferred
Lean / Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
ASQ Certification: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
Strong understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
Experience working with Government customers.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
