Standard Job Description
You will be a Program Management - Subocontract Manager in the Subcontract Operations Center (SOC) team. Our team is responsible for managing subcontract operations, ensuring compliance and supporting program needs.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Subcontract Program Management Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of buyers placing POs for the Mid-Tier Major Subcontracts Team, supporting programs across all of Missiles and Fire Control. You will play a critical role in enabling your team to succeed and driving results that meet program objectives. Your responislble will include, but not limited to:
- Assigning daily work and level-loading workload acrss the team of buyers to ensure optimal productivity
- Reviewing and approving Purchase Order packages as a Delegation of Authority (DOA)
- Training and developing your team on LMAP, MFC GSC Work Instructions and Procurement Systems to ensure SOC's compliane goal is met
- Managing expedite requests and quick-turn needs for programs
- Ensuring buying team updates PR Insights weekly, manages unacknowledged POs and meets program deadlines
- Ensure team is sending out RFPs and supporting front end proposal process for customer submittal
Basic Qualifications
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
- Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including processes, procedures, policies, systems and overall understanding of subcontracts
- Experience with Subcontractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent expreience/combined education, with 8+ years of professional experience
- Experience in S4/Hana
- Experience using SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P)
- Experience with different contracting types
- Experience leading a large, diverse remote team
- Ability to balance competing priorites and make sound decisions

- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $161300.00 - $299500.00
