Specific Job DescriptionThe selected candidate will provide day to day support of IRST Programs Development, Production, & Sustainment Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and support all Cost Account Management (CAM) duties related to those efforts including proposals, manpower planning and tracking, variance analysis and reporting, budgeting, baselining activities, and quarterly EAC updates.Key focus area for this individual will include leading the Obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) sustainment program efforts, as well as overall sustainment lifecycle roadmap and projections for Legion/IRST Programs. Daily tasks include supporting the mitigation of potential component obsolescence, supplier insolvency, or material scarcity including tracking known issues and communicating at risk items with stakeholders across the program’s multiple configurations and customersResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, identifying and tracking risks and opportunities across program, and assist in milestone selection and tracking, as well as facilitating IMS updates. Candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and approving repair and rework requirements by utilizing various tools and analysis techniques, ensuring contract and schedule are met. Individual will interface and collaborate cross-functionally with production repair operations, repair depots, procurement, PP&C, quality, engineering, and various leadership, or program management both internal and external to execute roles & responsibilities.  Candidate will be responsible for contract data deliverables and supporting Sustainment contract activities both on and offsite for various customers.  Selected candidate will also support frequent presentations and briefings to senior leadership and external customers.  Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.Additionally, the candidate will analyze life of need for production and sustainment stakeholders based on multiple sources of information including failures, period of performance, current stock posture, repair process, and expected life of subsystems and reporting results to program leadership, customers and IPTs. The candidate will develop/maintain visual representations of component and/or sub-system roadmaps, communicate with assigned customers on issues and needs, and create reports, product roadmaps, and presentations.  The candidate should be creative, analytical, process-oriented, and appreciate the challenge of clarifying ambiguity.  A successful candidate will have efficient and effective communication skills to support the development and delivery of reports, program directives, engineering change requests, and presentations. Travel may be required.

Responsible for sustainment program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer and provide advice or training on system design and specifications. Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications. Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability.

Basic Qualifications

•              DMSMS Experience

•              Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)

•              Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance

•              Technical / Eng background or equivalent experience

•              Military experience / background

•              Experience developing fielding plans and early sustainment implementation

•              Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment

•              Familiarity with statistical analysis and current modeling tools and techniques

•              Familiar with MFC Asset Management System (AMS)

•              Individual must be a self-starter capable of effectively managing

•              Proposal experience

•              Excellent communication skills and Customer facing presentation experience

•              Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
