Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Design Requirements and Analysis Engineer for an advanced missile/sensor development effort, reporting to the program's Lead Systems Engineer and providing daily interface with the Program Manager, engineering leads, suppliers, and the customer. Responsibilities include technical performance and risk reduction activities throughout the weapon system lifecycle from CONOPS and system trades through requirements, compliance, implementation, integration, verification, transition to production, and design upgrades for intended applications.
Candidate will lead team through key program milestones such as Systems Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), system integration and test, and Functional Configuration Audit (FCA).
Candidate will collaborate in cross-functional engineering activities in support of missile program, including but not limited to Conops and trade studies, system analyses to bound requirements and finalize architecture, configuration control of the technical baseline, verification planning and execution, affordability considerations, and risk and opportunity management.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in an engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience with 7+ years of professional experience.
- Extensive missile design, development, and testing experience and the drive to collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to achieve technical excellence and mission success.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering activities in support of missile programs.
- Experience with Conops, trade studies, system analyses, and architecture development.
- Experience with risk and opportunity management.
- DoD tactical system development program experience, customer interface, requirements derivation/allocation, integration and test planning and execution, management of major subcontracts, understanding of Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and their application, and participation in major design reviews.
- Experience in achieving SETR events such as SRR, PDR, CDR, FCA, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- MS Office Suite experience.
- Secret clearance is required to start.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with formal decision analysis methods.
- Experience using IBM DOORS and Rhapsody/Cameo or similar for system requirements and Architecture.
- Knowledge of the following technologies is desired: GPS/sensor systems, Processor or FPGA design, aerodynamics, GNC, data links, warheads, propulsion, software implementation, and program protection.
- Experience with Agile process and tools, such as JIRA or similar.
- Experience with the entire program lifecycle from technology demonstrations to transition to production.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
