Standard Job Description

Participate in a structured cooperative educational/work program.  The college/university student who is enrolled in an accredited degree program, with directly related to skills required by the company, will perform assigned tasks in project management and/or engineering disciplines (e.g., Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering (SE)) related to the Germany (CMS-M) Project.  Specifically, the student will work directly with the Program Management team involved in general project coordination and engineering support.

This will include:
  • Project Coordination
  • Problem Solving
  • Systems Engineering
  • Development of presentation material and presentations
  • Status updating
  • Participation in budget development
  • Budget development optimization
  • Evaluation of how project plan changes impact cost and schedule
  • Supporting coordination of work performed by outside contractors.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Current student in an Engineering or Business Major
  • Aptitude for working well both in and across teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner
  • Candidate must be available for 4 months Beginning January 2027

Desired Skills

  • Active security clearance
  • Previous experience working in either the marine or defence industry
  • Previous experience in JIRA and/or Confluence
