THE WORK

  • This role will perform a variety of activities which involve standard procedures. Captures and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness; develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports.
  • In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data.
  • Additional responsibilities may include Inspecting machines or partially machined parts, using predetermined methods and sequences to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications and quality requirements; devises setups to measure the accuracy of compound angles, exacting tolerances, and numerous dimensions.
  • Works from drawings, sketches, and specification.
  • Analyzes defective parts to determine cause of defect and recommends corrective action.
  • May determine method and sequences necessary to perform inspections.
  • May inspect first run and production parts where standard checking devices are not available and special inspection tools and layouts are required.
  • May improvise or adapt inspection measuring instruments as needed.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Typically requires considerable knowledge of machining operation and some experience.

Basic Qualifications

- Knowledge / Experience with inspection of machined parts
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Effective communication skills.
- Blueprint reading

- Understanding the FAI process
-This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $48200.00 - $89400.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
