What You Will Be Doing
Our team is responsible for work measurement, cost analysis, capacity requirements planning (reporting and analysis), capital project management and budget planning, discrete event simulation, staffing forecasts, etc.
As an Industrial Engineer, you will support cross-functional improvement efforts for ADP programs, working closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes. You will also perform data analysis, observations, and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- First Article Master Scheduling Committee (FAMSCO) facilitation
- Work directly with and in support of the production operations team
- Performing observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement
- Using visualization and data analytic tools to analyze production processes
- Applying Lean and Six-Sigma practices to production and leading major improvement efforts
- Assisting in new product development and proposal efforts with data analysis
- Standardizing team processes
- Leading/mentoring newer Industrial Engineers

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN with the ability to obtain and retain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting
Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, or a similar Engineering discipline
- Experience applying Industrial Engineering principles in industry (forecasting, scheduling, staffing, etc)
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in a relevant manufacturing environment
Desired Skills
- Bachelor of science degree in Industrial Engineering
- Proficiency with computer systems and data analytics
- Proficiency with software including Tableau, MS Project, MS Word, advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, & Visio
- Ability to communicate effectively and be persuasive with solutions
- Experience with production scheduling
- Leadership experience, including developing teams, driving performance, and resolving conflicts
- Strong communication skills, including building and delivering presentations to Senior Leadership
- Ability to manage multiple prorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience standing up a new capability or function rather than sustaining an established one
- Familiarity with EVMS concepts, earned value, and EAC development on a labor hour basis
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
