Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer Asc. In this role, you will perform in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drive adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Create and analyze 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluate performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverage factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provide input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field prior to start
- Active secret security clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years or enrollment in CE or the ability to obtain a secret security clearance prior to start (must be a US citizen)
- Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start
Desired Skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines
- Experience supporting air vehicle assembly in a liaison role
- Experience working with 3D modelling software (CATIA, Creo, Solidworks, Nx)
- Internship experience in a manufacturing related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Experience implementing new hardware/software/tools or procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and JIRA/Confluence toolsets
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
