Responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.

Basic Qualifications

At least 5 years professional experience in the following skill sets:

• Experience with support equipment, tool room, and warehouse procedures.

• Experience working in an aviation-related environment

• Proficient with Microsoft Suite products and be skilled at managing spreadsheets.

Desired Skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:

• Experience with logistics or property data bases (ALIS, IFS) or equivalent logistics databases for managing inventory and property.

• Working level of understanding in the use of barcode readers.

• Effective and efficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD Control, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.

• Self-starter who is proactive with ability to multi-task.

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00
