The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs) is looking for world class talent to join our Technology Roadmaps organization. The ideal candidate will join our Autonomy – Flight Demonstration Programs and be a part of a team that carries on our 80 year tradition making history in advanced aircraft developments. This position provides an exciting opportunity within an Autonomy organization focused on developing and maturing technology from concept through flight testing and transition to aircraft programs.

The candidate will be responsible for Program Management (PM) functions on one or more Internal and Contract Research and Development Projects within the Autonomy – Flight Demonstrations portfolio. Candidate PM responsibilities will include Program Management, customer interface and coordination, cross-Autonomy alignment, schedule/plan development, monthly status reporting, and new business pursuit and capture. Technical leadership responsibilities will span the technology development lifecycle, including oversight of requirements generation, system design, ICD development, architecture, and implementation.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering Sciences

-Experience in Program Management or technical leadership of a multi-functional team

-Experience with USAF Test Pilot School, AFRL, or DARPA

-Experience building customer relationships and generating winning proposals

-Active Secret Clearance

Desired Skills

-Experience with application of open system architectures

-Ability to work in a high-performing multi-program team

-Experience working flight test or similar programs along with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment via rapid prototyping

-Demonstrated success shaping and leading a team in a dynamic business environment

-Demonstrated strong communication skills, with extensive experience building collaborative relationships and effectively engaging both internal and external customers

-Experience with Cost Account Management, schedule development, and status reporting

-Background in systems engineering, system architectures, software development, flight controls, flight test, or related field

-Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills

-Presentation skills conveying focused messages to internal senior leadership and external customers

-Willingness to travel frequently

-Must be a US Citizen

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
